Wordsmith Language Solutions is a translation company in Pune, working with businesses and individuals across India and abroad since 2013. Our focus is accurate, high-quality human translation, handled by linguists who know the subject and checked through a consistent review process. We are certified to ISO 17100:2015 and ISO 9001:2015, and our certified translation services carry a notarised affidavit and a certificate on agency letterhead that embassies and Indian courts accept.

Our Story
Wordsmith Language Solutions was founded by Sumant and Mayura Satarkar in Pune in 2013. It grew out of years spent working closely with languages. Mayura taught Japanese and French, and as students and local businesses began asking for documents to be translated, certified, and accepted by embassies and courts, the two of them took that work on together.
A handful of early projects became a steady practice, built around careful translators and a process we could repeat. We were never interested in cutting corners on quality, and that has shaped how we hire, how we review, and how we deliver.
More than ten years on, we work with a vetted network of 5,000+ professional linguists across 120+ languages and 900+ language pairs, from the same office in Narayan Peth, Pune. We have grown, but the founders stay close to the work.

Sumant Satarkar
Co-Founder
Sumant holds an MA in History and has worked extensively in art history, languages, and culture. He leads the company's work and brings a careful eye to projects where context and cultural nuance decide whether a translation reads correctly to its audience.
Mayura Satarkar
Co-Founder
Mayura holds an MA in Economics from Fergusson College, Pune. She spent the 2006 to 2007 academic year in Japan on an AFS cultural exchange program scholarship, where she became fluent in Japanese, and she studied French at the Alliance Française of Pune. She taught both languages before the company began.
